Energy and peak demand savings

You can access a number of energy and peak demand savings through the NSW Government.

This includes the Energy Savings Scheme (ESS) which was established in 2009 to help households and business to become more energy efficient and reduce electricity and gas use.

Through the scheme, you can access a range of financial incentives to upgrade existing appliances and equipment or to purchase new ones for your business. Additional incentives are also available to upgrade or purchase appliances for your home.

Upgrading your equipment to more energy efficient models will help you reduce your energy use and lower the cost of your bills while helping the environment.

Find out what equipment upgrades you may be eligible for and how to access the scheme.

You will need to work with an accredited provider to access the incentives. Find out how this works.

The ESS and PDRS are both part of the Energy Security Safeguard. Find out how the Safeguard will improve affordability, reliability and sustainability of our energy use.
