Join others taking action to reduce their emissions

Consider a low emissions vehicle

Unlike petrol and diesel fuelled vehicles, electric vehicles (EVs) do not produce tailpipe emissions.

A switch to an EV and adoption of electric transport is a key way to achieve NSW’s Net Zero Plan which is why we’re working to make NSW the easiest place to buy and use an EV in Australia.

We’re doing this by:

  • offering grants and initiatives to help you upgrade to an EV
  • investing $209 million into a world-class charging network, with around 275 fast charging stations popping up around NSW, and thousands of destination chargers
  • providing support for fleets to transition to battery electric vehicles (BEVs).

Take action today

Aside from making a voluntary contribution to offset your vehicle’s emissions or buying an EV, there are many other ways you can reduce emissions to help the environment.

Driving a highly efficient car, riding a bike, walking, or taking public transport actively lowers emissions.
