Setting our vision and path for developing a thriving green hydrogen industry in NSW.

We are committed to supporting the development of hydrogen refuelling infrastructure along our major interstate highways. This includes a Memorandum of Understanding with the Victorian and Queensland governments for an east coast hydrogen refuelling network. 

We developed a certificate scheme to make energy efficient upgrades more accessible to households and businesses.

To achieve net zero emissions, councils need to plan and develop a strategy for their operational and community emissions.

There will be a range of emission sources within your council or Local Government Area (LGA). These will include but aren’t limited to transport, energy, waste, industry, and agriculture.

The NSW Government supports farmers to use renewable energy to reduce operational costs and drought proof their farm. 

By reducing emissions and moving to net zero, councils can help to limit climate change and reduce the impacts of climate change in their region.
