About the Energy Performance Services Grant
This grant is now closed.
The Energy Performance Services Grant supported businesses that already had submetering hardware in place to improve energy performance through effective use of metering data. It offered grants for up to $50,000, covering up to 50% of project costs.

Milestone 1 helps cover costs to work with a specialist consultant to assess your energy monitoring and analysis needs and develop a plan that details the work to be completed for Milestone 2.
Milestone 2 helps cover eligible costs to implement the approved plan. There are 3 categories of eligible activities under the energy monitoring and analysis plan that could be covered by funding:
- energy monitoring and analytics software platforms
- data integration and connectivity
- technical guidance and support.

Grant funding will be paid in one instalment once you have completed milestones 1 and 2. Once we accept the project deliverables and confirm the final eligible project costs, we will ask you to use the grant management system to submit an invoice to us.
You must complete milestone 1 within 2 months of the funding deed’s start date. Milestone 2 must then be completed within 3 months of when we confirm milestone 1 is successfully completed.
