ASP scheme qualification criteria for Level 3 ASPs (Criteria 2 only)

Training organisations delivering courses for the Criteria 2 pathway for Level 3 ASPs must be registered with the Australian Skills Quality Authority, or the relevant state training authority, and must have the relevant qualification and unit of competency within their scope of registration to deliver training and/or assessment.

Design of network assets

To register an individual worker (RA) against a Level 3 accreditation, which covers the design of overhead and underground electricity network assets, the individual must meet one of the three eligibility criteria pathways listed in the ASP Scheme Rules (PDF, 963 KB) and provide the required supporting evidence.

The information below shows the old and current equivalent qualification requirements for the Criteria 2 pathway side by side. Both old and current equivalent qualifications are accepted under the ASP Scheme Rules. In order to satisfy the Criteria 2 pathway, you must meet all listed requirements.

The Criteria 1 and 3 pathways remain unchanged.
