Developing renewable and low carbon manufacturing industries in NSW

Introduction

We are committed to growing the NSW economy by investing $550 million to support our manufacturing industries to develop renewable energy and low carbon products.

Two funding initiatives are expected to open in 2023:

  • $300 million to develop manufacturing of low carbon products and materials
  • $250 million to develop components for the renewable energy and electric vehicle sectors.

These initiatives aim to help expand and establish local manufacturing in our renewable energy and low carbon sectors. They focus on technologies that are commercially viable and ready for scaling up.
