There are currently 31 pipelines operating in NSW with licences granted under the Pipelines Act 1967.
Electricity networks can be dangerous to the public and network workers. Ensuring safety is of the highest priority. That’s why the Minister established the Industry Safety Steering Committee (ISSC).
Under the Gas Supply (Safety and Network Management) Regulation 2022, Network Operators are required to report all incidents, accidents, emergencies and gas quality specification variations that occur on any gas network in accordance with the reporting guidelines.
