  • reduce maintenance costs with a new hot water system
  • reduce your greenhouse gas emissions and help NSW reach net zero emissions.

Step 1: contact Accredited Power Saver for a quote

My Accredited Power Saver will help:

  • compare heat pump water heater models, and the differences between them
  • choose the best heat pump water heater model for your needs and circumstances
  • provide you a quote for the installation of your chosen model.

Make sure to ask questions to check that this system meets your needs, such as the:

  • system size
  • location of the water heater
  • noise the water heater makes
  • warranty period.

You will see the discount you’re receiving from the Energy Savings Scheme in your quote upfront as this is not a rebate.

Step 2: complete the required paperwork

Accredited Power Saver will provide you with:

  • a quote detailing the work to be completed, the discount you will receive and the total cost.
  • a nomination form which must be signed and returned for Accredited Power Saver to secure the discount on your installation. This must be completed before the installation begins as you won’t be reimbursed for work already completed.

You will also be required to provide documentation proving your eligibility to claim this discount.

Once you have completed the paperwork, you can proceed with the installation and receive your discount. If you have any issues or questions, contact Accredited Power Saver for assistance.

Step 3: organise your installation

Set a date for installation with Accredited Power Saver. A licensed plumber and/or electrician will:

  • install your new water heater
  • show you how to use it
  • safely dispose of or recycle your old hot water system.

Following the installation, your installer will:

  • require you to sign a Post Implementation Declaration, declaring that the installation requirements have been met
  • take photos of the installation as proof that it took place.
