Installing small scale renewable energy systems in NSW

In NSW, customers are able to connect a solar PV system or wind turbine to the grid. Check with your distributor and determine their connection and application requirements before you proceed. There are several benefits of installing a small-scale renewable energy system, including:

• reduced electricity bills by installing a net metered system;
• alternative financial incentives offered by some energy retailers; and
• financial incentives through Commonwealth Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme.
